Marine abrasion

It is the erosion caused by the sea, due to the continuous action of the waves that attack the base and the rocky cliffs of the coast.

This phenomenon ends up causing the crumbling of rock blocks and the consequent removal of these walls.

From this originate the high coasts that are called cliffs, such as those existing in the northeast, formed by sedimentary rocks (barriers).
